Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Installing new hardware while ensuring that they work correctly and safely
  • Repairing broken-down or damaged equipment
  • Assessing hardware and installation functionality and preparing reports about maintenance and repair work performed
  • Assisting in the modification and development of equipment improvements

 

Qualifications

 

  • Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace equipment
  • Experience with coffee, espresso, refrigeration equipment
  • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and repair
  • Strong knowledge about their industry and the general requirements of different equipment types
  • Precise written communication abilities for filing repair, installation and maintenance reports
  • Physical stamina in the handling of complex tools and heavy equipment and moving through confined spaces
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while using their own technical judgment regarding complex tasks
